Dan’s expertise spans a wide spectrum of health and fitness disciplines, developed over two decades of hands-on experience. From Golf Biomechanics and Sports Therapy to Strength and Conditioning, he brings a depth of knowledge that allows him to work with clients across all abilities and goals. His nine years as a semi-professional footballer gave him first-hand insight into the importance of structured training, injury prevention, and the power of a quality strength and conditioning programme.

After building a successful career in retail management, Paul made the leap into the fitness industry in 2016, driven by a desire to help others experience the benefits of exercise and healthier living. Since then, he has combined his natural leadership, attention to detail, and passion for people to play a key role in the smooth running of Field of Fitness.

As Studio Manager and a vital part of the leadership team, Paul is the heartbeat of operations. He ensures the studio runs seamlessly day to day, acting as the glue that holds everything together. Paul’s own passion for sport and competition began around eight years ago, when he discovered not just the physical but the powerful mental benefits of healthier habits, new hobbies, and consistent self-development. That same drive to live actively and keep competing fuels his commitment to the Field of Fitness mission: helping people improve their lives through fitness, community, and personal growth.

Josh

Coach

With over a decade in the fitness industry, Josh has immersed himself in a wide range of training disciplines, including powerlifting, Olympic lifting, CrossFit, and kettlebell training. This breadth of experience has given him a deep understanding of strength and conditioning and how different approaches can be used to help people move, perform, and feel their best.

But it’s in the field of nutrition that Josh has carved out a leading role within Field of Fitness. Holding multiple nutrition certifications, and with a professional background in catering, he brings together a rare combination of technical expertise and genuine passion for food. As the key team member coordinating our nutrition programme, Josh is dedicated to helping clients cut through the confusion of diets and quick fixes, instead creating sustainable nutritional habits that fit into real lives.

Josh’s belief is simple yet powerful: strength, conditioning, and nutrition form the foundations of a high-quality life, both physically and mentally. His greatest fulfilment comes from sharing this knowledge, empowering clients to fuel their bodies properly, train effectively, and ultimately achieve results they can maintain long term.

Passionate, practical, and people-focused, Josh ensures that nutrition isn’t an afterthought at Field of Fitness, it’s at the heart of the journey.

Graham

Coach

Graham’s journey in fitness began at the highest levels of sport, representing South Africa as a Springbok swimmer at the Commonwealth and All Africa Games. That experience instilled in him not only the discipline to perform at an elite level, but also a lifelong appreciation for the balance between strength, recovery, and overall well-being.

Today, Graham is a driving force behind the restorative side of Field of Fitness. Evolving from his background in Strength and Conditioning, he has carved out a specialist role that focuses on what he is most passionate about: Pilates, mobility, and restorative health. His work centres on helping people move with greater ease, stability, and confidence, whether that means reducing pain, improving posture, or simply restoring the ability to enjoy daily life to the fullest.

A keen mountain biker and lifelong sportsman, Graham knows first-hand the importance of healthy eating, structured training, and building resilience through stabilisation, strengthening, and flexibility. He believes fitness is about giving 100% of yourself, setting meaningful goals, and never giving up on the pursuit of better health—at any age.

At Field of Fitness, Graham’s purpose is clear: to support clients in restoring their bodies, improving mobility, and building strength that lasts. His approach is grounded in both compassion and expertise, helping people reconnect with their potential and thrive for the long term.

Brendan

Coach

Brendan first stepped into a kickboxing gym at 17 years old and from that moment, he knew he wanted to be around health and fitness in some way. By the age of 21, he had gained his personal training qualification and began coaching full-time, turning his passion into a career.

Always drawn to competition and testing his limits, Brendan spent five years competing in kickboxing, where he earned two national titles. From there, he shifted his focus towards strength training and body composition. His dedication paid off when he won a bronze medal in his first men’s physique show, and he continued to push forward by competing again in 2023.

As a coach, Brendan works with a wide range of clients—some who want to learn boxing and kickboxing skills on the pads, and others who are focused on building strength and improving their physique. He thrives on this diversity, and nothing brings him more satisfaction than seeing his clients grow in confidence, ability, and results.

Luvuyo (Lu)

Coach

With over a decade of experience in the fitness industry, Luvuyo brings both expertise and heart to everything he does. Holding a degree in Exercise Science and Sports Conditioning, alongside certifications in Personal Training, Yoga, Pilates, Spinning, and Nutrition, he has a truly well-rounded approach to health and performance.

Luvuyo specialises in working with clients over 40, guiding them to become stronger, more resilient, and more confident as they age. For him, strength training is about so much more than lifting weights it’s about improving everyday function, building mental resilience, and empowering people to live life to the fullest.

Passionate about educating others, Luvuyo’s mission is to shift the way people think about ageing and fitness. He believes strength training isn’t just for athletes or the young—it’s essential for everyone. Nothing excites him more than seeing clients break barriers, discover new possibilities, and realise just how capable they are.

Dan

Coach

Dan brings over 13 years of personal training experience, six of those running his own private coaching business, alongside an impressive background working with some of the UK’s biggest gym names, including The Gym Group, Virgin Active, and Nuffield Health.

But his story started long before that. Having gone through his own personal weight loss and body transformation journey, Dan experienced firsthand how fitness can transform not just the body, but also mental health and overall outlook on life. That breakthrough has shaped his coaching philosophy ever since: connecting with people on multiple levels and helping them unlock confidence, strength, and resilience they never thought possible.

Dan’s expertise is wide-ranging. He’s qualified in pre- and post-natal exercise, injury prevention and rehabilitation, boxing and strength coaching. He has supported national rowers, prepared police officers for firearms fitness testing, coached powerlifting competitors, and trained everyday people wanting to feel fitter, healthier, and stronger. At Nuffield Health, he led the Recovery+ programme, guiding clients through 12-week rehabilitation programmes after major operations such as knee, hip, shoulder, and back surgery—working closely with consultants to ensure safe, progressive results.

What truly sets Dan apart is his approach: technical, specific, and challenging, yet always fun and rewarding. Whether it’s guiding someone through their first steps in fitness, coaching a competitor, or helping a client regain strength post-injury, Dan’s passion lies in empowering people to change their lives, one session at a time.

Michael

Coach

Michael has lived and breathed sport since the age of 12, competing in everything from swimming to volleyball. For him, movement has always been more than physical, it’s been a source of strength, resilience, and mental well-being. That passion naturally led him into the fitness industry, where he has spent the last five years helping others unlock their own potential.

With a strong background in rehabilitation, Michael has worked alongside semi-professional football, rugby, and American football teams. He’s seen first-hand how simple, purposeful movements can translate into powerful results, not only for performance but also for everyday life.

What drives him most is supporting people to achieve their very best, whether that’s overcoming setbacks, building confidence, or reaching goals they once thought out of reach. He believes fitness is a lifelong journey, and his mission is to make that journey both empowering and enjoyable.
