John Field

Jon Field – Training Director

Jon founded Field of Fitness in 2006. He played rugby for Sussex for 6 years and represented the NEC Harlequins development team 2001-2002 season and has considerable  knowledge and experience of what it takes to train at a high level and is super-focused on achieving maximum results.

Dan Oliver – Training Director

Dan specialises in a broad spectrum of applications, including golf biomechanics and Sports Massage Therapy. He played semi professional football for nine years (alongside other sports) and through his own actions understands the importance of a quality conditioning programme delivered via a professional service.

Dan Hughes

Dan Hughes – Studio Manager/Coach

Dan draws on his experience from years of physical training and conditioning while serving in the British Army and playing competitive Rugby. He has achieved his REPs level 3 Personal Trainer and Nutritional Qualification and has extensive experience in coaching Rugby, Football and Handball. Dan is a firm believer in ‘everybody starts somewhere’.

Richard Jones – Senior Assessor

Richard has vast experience within the fitness industry coaching in and managing personal training studios. His years of helping clients from all walks of life gives him plenty of versatility and scope to help anyone to realise their fitness potential. Richards passion is in helping to coach clients to achieve true potential and optimal health and happiness.

Richard has swam at county level for Warwick, ran in the London Marathon, completed Mud Runs and pushes himself physically for continued wellbeing.

Graham Manson-Smith - Master Trainer

Graham Manson-Smith – Coach

Graham has competed for South Africa as a Springbok, swimming at the Commonwealth, and All Africa Games. He is a keen mountain biker and his passion for sport has emphasised the importance of eating healthy, staying fit as well as focusing on stabilisation, strengthening and flexibility. He believes in life you should always give 100% of yourself set goals and never give up on your dreams.

Estelle Parker – Reception Manager / Coach

Estelle is our Front of House Manager and also teaches Team Training/Group Conditioning Classes. As well as being a great front-of-house person she is also super-committed to her own fitness and training.

Estelle is a dedicated gym-goer who is passionate about health and fitness. Whilst working with us she has completed her Level 2 Gym Instructor course and is soon to completed her Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training.

Craig Marrison – Master Trainer

Craig Marrison – Coach

Craig has worked in the fitness industry for over 10 years and has worked with everyone from Professional athletes to people who are taking their first steps into exercises. This vast range of clientele has helped him to hone his coaching and become very adaptable ensuring anyone, of any level, can enjoy a beneficial session that leaves them feeling challenged with a sense of achievement.

He spent 5 years playing Semi Professional Football and had trials with Luton Town but struggled to maintain that level due to injuries. He is a big believer in using gym-based exercises that have a great transferability into every day life: be that improving sports performance or just being able to enjoy time with family injury and pain free.

Heather Husmer – Coach

Heather began her career on the East Coast of America at the University of Connecticut where she acquired both  BS and MS in exercise kinesiology. From there she continued down a Strength and Conditioning path as the head trainer at ESPN.

After her time coaching strength and conditioning she spent many years in corporate and commercial fitness where she had the great privilege of working with many different individuals from weekend warriors, new moms, stressed out execs, to professional athletes. Heather brings a strong passion for the science of exercise and continued education so that the people she works with can be assured they are getting the best evidence-based training available.

Dani Forshaw

Dani Forshaw – Dietitian

Dani is a Registered Dietitian qualifying with a First-class BSc from the University of Surrey. She is currently extending her knowledge by studying an MSc in Applied Sports Nutrition at St Mary’s University, London, whilst working as a Sports Performance & Health Dietitian. As a competitive road cyclist, she knows how to keep the body healthy & race ready. Dani works with her clients to develop practical nutrition plans to support their individual requirements. She believes in educating her clients to build a long-term positive relationship with food and empowers them to make healthy, balanced food choices. Nutrition is not just about weight loss, it is about improving both body and mind.
