2. How long have you been training with Field of Fitness?
I joined Field of Fitness in July last year after completing the months trial in June.
3. What do you love about training with Field of Fitness?
I actually enjoy going to the gym which is something I never thought I would say! The team of instructors are all amazing and the members are all so friendly. It feels like a real family and there are a lot of laughs even at 6.30am! The training itself has made me realise that I can achieve more than I ever thought I could. Having regular testing weeks and in body assessments really helps to focus on areas to improve and focus on in your training.
4. What do you think has been your greatest achievement whilst you’ve been training with us?
Ha!! This has to be the NUTs challenge in March 2019. Never in a million years did I think I would sign up to something like that let alone complete it! But I did it and had such a great day with the team! I am ready to sign up to the next one!
5. What’s your favourite exercise?
I generally enjoy all the exercises but if I had to choose it would probably be the ski erg or watt bike for cardio fitness. The core exercises have had a real benefit to me in general everyday life and being able to actually do them has made me very happy! I felt that I would never get that core strength back after having my children.
6. What do you want to achieve at field of Fitness in the next 3 months?
I would really like to get back to running and enter a 10km so I need to focus on endurance and strength a bit more!
7. How has training at Field of Fitness affected you personally?
Joining Field of Fitness has given me a new lease of life in terms of fitness. I was very much stuck in the cycle of join a gym, pay and never go! All the usual excuses such as not enough time etc. However being able to train early in the morning has meant I can find the time around work and my family. I feel stronger, healthier and more focused each day when I get to work. It has also made me look more at diet and lifestyle in general hence my challenge of 100 days sober 😊 (39 days in). I would recommend anyone to join Field of Fitness and know they will enjoy it as much as I do!
I am truly grateful for all the encouragement and support that the team (staff and members) have given me during this last year.
